Video: The Real Stuntman

12

Rogério Perdiz (Rogper) created this ragdoll animation with some fast and sweet editing.

Rogério writes:

Hey, I've updated my happy ragdoll (Stuntman02) the the 2014 Standards.
It... cof cof... "He" now runs on Blender interactive dynamics, features breakable constraints and was rendered on Cycles. Sound effects and soundtrack was added to improve the experience.

Exclusively for BlenderNation I'm also sharing the Stuntman02 starting kit that includes some usual Stuntman02 objects and the Stuntman02 in the flesh... herg... wood. Stuntman02 can be used freely to your heart desire.

Stuntman02 is a virtual stuntman.
Although he doesn't feel pain all the stunts have at least a slight probability of survival.

Best regards

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Head of Community at Sketchfab.

  1. This is some really interesting stuff and I can agree to TimH that the camera work is awesome. I like that GoPro camera like stuff :D

Thanks Skeindem! I'm an adictioned by sea and waves, so I have one GoPro and one day I thought how it would look if I attached one to the Stuntman02 :)

  2. This is really really great.

The camera language is fantastic and even in a simplistic environment like this we can see all the detailed work that is always present in Rogper's work.

    Congratulations Rogper!
