Mocha is a commercial tracker; it's data can now be fed in to Blender. The import add-on comes with a set of video tutorials.
Is there anyone who has experience with both tools and who can compare their performance?

Good Sprit Graphics recently unveiled MochBalend, an add-on that will let you bring mocha tracking data from any of the mocha products, such as mocha pro or mocha AE into blender.

Don’t say “commercial” when you mean “proprietary”. :)
Oh, and by the way, I don’t do personal attacks, nor do I tolerate them.
So, goodbye.
Hate to notice but in Russian "mocha" is "urina". Is that plastic glass not accidental?
Mocha sound like "Мокко"...Но да, я тоже прочел как "моча" :)
Ah, so funny (or funky?) and queer English language can be :))))))))
This Add-on is pretty amazing. Blender now had better support for Mocha data then most other platforms.
Thanks, for noticing. I designed it to do more in Blender than with any other single application like AE, Nuke, Hitfilm, etc. In fact, you can do things with Mocha data now in Blender that you can't do in any other application.
Wait till you see the next tutorials, there is a lot more that MochaBlend lets you do in Blender.
I'm itching to get my hands on this but money is tighter than a, well you know, tight.
So when can we expect a release? Blender people just don't get that Mocha's 3D solver is a better tracker/solver than Blender's (much better in my experience even with V2.7) and it's what we use.
If all goes well, it will be released this week.

This is great news. I use Mocha almost every day for work, and I've been dreaming of using it with blender. Gonna have to try this out. Thanks.
Will you apply this addon to Blender 2.8?
A message for Good Spirit Graphics : I got a better idea, how about to think differently ? Until any of us will think individually,he/she will not be able to understand the complexity of the phenomena. In fact, if you think individually you are absolutely right to think like you think. You have worked hard to create your product and you have also chosen a low price and you are right to encourage people to buy it. BUT,if you want to think in a more general way, you will realize that if you want to create a complex project you need many tools, plugins, expensive programs and that often, free and open source tools are not enough. So,as long as there are not enough high quality and free or very low cost tools in the computing world, there will be people trying to make do as much as they can making and trying everything to realize their dreams and to learn new things. One thing is certain: many people have many ideas and dreams and a little of money and they will not be stopped by anyone in their creations. Lower the price is not very useful. What we need is a greater confidence in creating a world more free of money and more free of (expensive and/or commercial) tools.
