    Pssst.. hey Bart..

My name is Ricardo Raimundo.. not Florian Richter!

    • http://www.blendernation.com Bart Veldhuizen

Gosh, how did I come up with THAT? Sorry about that :)

      • http://utopia3d.wordpress.com/ Utopia780

No problem Bart! It happens to all of us!
It was a great surprise to see one of my images back in BlenderNation!

  • Wootie11

Is it alright if I've already made something that meets the theme? I apologize for my noobishness!

    • http://www.blendernation.com Bart Veldhuizen

Sure, go ahead. As long as you're having fun this weekend it's fine with me! Maybe you could spend some time to improve your existing work?

  • Py Calculus

Here is my image for the week. I may change it a little bit, but it's a lonesome morning in the city.

  • Py Calculus

Here's my entry: A Lonely City Morning. I almost lost it in a weird crash, and I forgot to save it, but I was able to recover it.

    • http://www.blendernation.com Bart Veldhuizen

      Nice work!

      • Knut Einar Skjær

I really like the feel of this image as well; the only thing I would suggest is to adjust the DOF/Defocus, since it now has a little 'miniature look' as it is. I think it needs to be sharper in front, or more unsharp in the background, either way, a more distinct difference. Good job, though! :)

        • Py Calculus

          Thank you both.

  • Olivier Amrein

Weekend contest! Love the idea. It's been such a long time that I didn't take part in a competition. A quick entry with focus more on the overall mood and lighting, than modelling a city :-)

    • Py Calculus

I cast my vote with this one. I like the very minimalist style. I could tell immediately what it was.

  • Ayoub Moul

unfortunately this is not a city, but the theme inspired me to do this , I kinda like the result so I wanted to share it with you :),
hope you like my simple render ^_^.

    • http://utopia3d.wordpress.com/ Utopia780

I would vote in your image.. but there's no city in there!
It's a shame because is a very good image! I like it very much!

      • Andre Dues

Maybe the city is behind the camera! Who knows :)

        • Ayoub Moul

          hahaha! ask the fisher ;)

    • Ted

      Sunrise over Atlantis...

      • Andre Dues

Oh yeah the city is under water! Right!

    • http://utopia3d.wordpress.com/ Utopia780

ok ok.. I guess I was wrong! There is a city somewhere.
      You got my vote! :)

      • Andre Dues

These Contests are just for fun and to get better, so its not important whos the winner. But i really hope i can choose the Theme for next week :)

  • Andre Dues

Looks like a Videogame, but anyways heres my entry. I had some more Ideas but i call it finished :)

  • edcasi

Better late than never I guess. Here's my attempt. Ended up spending quite few hours on this one. Hope you enjoy it. :)

    • Andre Dues

Nice one. Seems to be very detailed, but also very dark. I like the Picture cause its telling a story :)

      • http://3dnett.no/ Thomas Nordstrøm

Thank you! ;) You're right. It is indeed to dark. Guess I nede to calibrate My workstation screen, it looked Alright there...

  • Noah Thurston

Pretty rushed and last minute but I was just able to finish. Its seems pretty obvious I spent 95% of my time just on the cup.
To many people coffee is a big priority when the sunrises, that is why I felt it was suitable a subject.
