Support BlenderNation with your Christmas Shopping at Amazon
If you're planning to do some Christmas shopping at Amazon, you can support BlenderNation by placing your next Amazon purchase through this link. It'll give me a percentage of your spendings without disclosing any personal information, and it won't cost you a dime. It would mean a lot to me, thanks!

Just bought something at Amazon and didn't used the link because I forgot about it - I'm sorry Bart :( Will doublecheck my next order to go with your link
Me too .. bad timing, my order is arriving today :S
No worries, it would be awesome if you could use it next time, thanks!
Hi Bart - I've been using the BlenderNation sponsored Amazon link for a while, including for a recent $12K CG computer component purchase. Love your site. As I mentioned to you at SIGGRAPH, my day starts and end wtih BlenderNation. What is frustrating from this side of things is the lack of visibility of sponsorship via that link. I can't see anything on amazon.com which shows transactions sponsor you or sponsorship totals which can be a little de-motivating. Any ideas on how to gain visibility for that warm/fuzzy donation feeling?
Ah, that was YOU! I saw a $200 jump in one day last month, it was amazing! I'm afraid Amazon doesn't offer any options to give me visibility on their site, so I guess this a warm THANK YOU will have to do :-)
...trying to make this site popular by awesome blender work. I don't personally support amazon.
Thanks Jan! That works too. Still, I spend over 15 hours per week on running BlenderNation, so some financial aid goes a long way ;-)
Crap. I only have one gift left to get. But I'll do what I can, now & in the future.
Brilliant, thanks!
Will this work on international Amazon sites? Your link goes to Amazon.com, so their site detects my location and displays a "Are you shopping in the UK?" link. If I click that link and then use Amazon.co.uk, will the donation still work?
I'm afraid not - for some reason, each Amazon site has a separate affiliate website. You make a good point though, I'll sign up for UK and leave a message once everything is up and running.
Great stuff - I'll definitely be editing my Amazon.co.uk bookmark when you've set it up. I wonder if the Blender Foundation has stats for the top nationalities of Blender users, and by implication which Amazon.?? sites they use?
I can't speak for blender.org, but here's an overview of the visitors here on BlenderNation. The top-5 is:
- US
- Germany
- France
- UK
- Italy
Of course, BlenderNation is an English-only website, so these numbers aren't representative for Blender usage.
