Made for 80% in Blender, rendered in Freestyle!
Johan Tri Handoyo writes:
I'm writing this on behalf of Adhicipta Wirawan. He is the creator and IP holder of The Adventure of Wanara. We are working on a multiproduct projects that involved multitalented artists across the nation to produce; trilogy novels, interactive comics and game for iOS and Android and also animation series.
I (Johan) myself is responsible for animated series production. We use 80% of Blender pipeline, and because of the concepts, we also very depending on Freestyle renderer to achieve the anime-ish result. Although there are still many glitches here and there but we manage to working on real production. I hope the freestyle renderer will be in more stable state soon.

yeah, they need to hurry up and get Freestyle in the official build.

If only freestyle would be easier to use.
But indeed, this is great work here!
Excellent work! So inspiring to see Blender coming of age.
Really like it, brings back great memories of the Tobal series on the first Playstation.
congratulations, this looks amazing!!
Do "Oshikuru Demon Samurai" next! (If you can get the rights from Chuck Lorre to use the fictitious title)
In that last picture below, is that some kind of a new timeline with keyframes ( in the center below )? Where can I find it?
That's the DopeSheet, an editor type. You can find it in the Animation layout.
What more can I say, Excellent!
Success!!

Very nice! Good to see Freestyle finding its way more into professional production pipelines.
Immmpressive! :D
This is top notch quality! And great character design, too!
Very nice. Love the cinematografy, or what ever you'd call it. Great composition and really feels lika a manga.
However, I felt that the colors where very desaturated. They could be much stronger, especially the skin color, It's very gray.
very nice technically..
but i've seen this sort of stuff so many times.. and still don't like it...
or maybe i just don't understand it..
