MinnBUG Meetup: January 6th
Blenderheads in Minnesota are meeting this Sunday.
John Fino writes:There *will* be a MinnBUG meeting January 6th, 1-4pm, same place as always. Apologies for the late notice, other things in life have derailed my plans for this meeting, so we’re just going to hold an open session. There’s nothing planned, just come and hang out and discuss Blender, projects, problems, the Vikes Packers game, whatever.
We’ll have something more formal next month.

What is typical attendance like? Or perhaps I should ask what has the largest attendance been?
The largest we’ve ever seen was over 20 people. Last meeting, we had about a dozen. Slow days we get 6 or so. There’s always a great discussion, and even informal meetings, like the one coming up. We do lots of problem solving and trouble shooting for people’s projects.
I like the idea of the informal meetings or skype meetings. I’m kind of a homebody living out in the sticks and once I get home from work it’s way too easy for me to stay with virtual meetups instead of dragging my carcass out to the metro area. :)
