I’m sure that the OSL shader addon to Cycles could improve it quite a bit and give the splash appearance some fine-tuning. Also check out the famous Strawberries/Milk splash videos from Mike Pan, really cool especially considering those were rendered with Blender Internal.
I agree, very nice logo animation. The close up on the fruit highlights one of the “flaws” in the fluid sim which is bubble inclusion. It takes way to much memory to get those unstable sticky bubbles to go away.
