So today we got pretty much snowed in here in the Netherlands, and I'm presenting this weekend's mini-contest: create the most bone-chilling snow scene in Blender! Post a link to your image as a comment, and +1 the image that you think should win. The winner wins eternal Monday fame.
Have a good weekend!!

Blender companion cube trapped in a snowstorm. Cycles rendertime about 2 seconds.
I have to say, that is quite amazing.
Teach me your optimization skills! I've been rendering hour 30 minute images all day.

I also like this one, although the DOF is a bit too much for me.

Hey, I really like the simplicity. Could you do a higher resolution render or open up your model?
Here you can find the HD version and some words about low poly stuff I like :)

sorry for the double post...anyway...the tecnique is pretty simple and gives in few seconds some really nice pattern. I will definitely use it for some orthogonal exterior render. If you like I can share the blend file...even if it's nothing more than two planes and two lights XD
Even if it's just two planes and lights - it's a ver nice composition - so I'd love to see if you'd publish the model. So I can fill my entire dual-monitor setup :)
my noisy, rushed render.

We need these labeled, especially when browsing BN at school.
