This summer I finally had the chance to make a personal movie with a friend for a swiss shortfilm competition. It's the story of a small mouse trying to impress girly mouse by getting the cheese and escaping the cat. It took us quiet some time, and the result is not as good as I wished, but nevertheless we finished the competition at the second place :-)
A blog post explaining a bit more in detail the production as well as the whole competition can be found here.
enjoy!

Nice story. Character with a problem, doesn't give up, gets romance in the end.
Sort of: mouse gets cheese, mouse loses cheese, mouse gets cheese back again. :)
Great stuff. It may not be as good as you were hoping it would be, but the most important thing is that it's a finished piece of work to show. You probably learned a lot from doing this, and taking those things and moving on to the next piece is way more important than lingering over one piece, trying to make it perfect and never getting it finished. There's only so much you can learn at a time. The storyline, backgrounds and timing are all rock solid. Maybe need to work on the animation and sound, but that's what to do on your next project. Keep it up!
And well done for getting second place, well deserved!
Its a good story and you nailed the critique in your blog. It is still a very enjoyable successfully completed short. Looking forward to future ones.
Nice movie. Some little things could be improved, but globally it is well done and pleasant to watch ! Congratulations.
Maybe just me, but I think the female mouse needs a bit stronger feminist support from Barby-types for clothes and makeup :)
Cool movie, I watched it a few times :)
well done! This is so enjoyable because you told a cute story well. One of the best parts is your timing. The amount of time you spent on each element and the scene sequence is great. That is way more important than subtle technical details and because of that your audience will forgive and look over any shortcomings. THanks for sharing.
