Blenderheads in Indianapolis are meeting at the end of this month, with a guest appearance of Sam Schad, the owner of BlendedSkies.

Darren L. Waschow writes:

The next Indianapolis Blender User Group (IndyBUG) meeting is scheduled for Thursday, November 29th at 6:00pm!

Our presenter this month will be Sam Schad, the owner of BlendedSkies, a company that creates amazing motion captured backplates and 360-degree panoramic HDR images. Sam will be demonstrating Blender's new tracking and masking tools as well as lighting scenes using HDR images.

As always, everyone is encouraged to bring their own images and animations to show on the big-screen! Just bring them on a CD, DVD, or USB drive so the group can see what you've been working on!

Once again we'll be meeting at Three Wise Men Brewing Company in Broad Ripple. The address is 1021 Broad Ripple Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana.

See you there!

  1. would like to get one started in philadelphia pa. be nice to have some sounding boards, just to get another point of view.a different perspective.

  2. I am having trouble finding the event for this on the meetup.com/blender page, I see the Indianpolis group, but do not see the event scheduled? Is the site having issues or has the event not formally been created yet?

  3. I had forgotten about posting the November meeting to the Meetup page. I have rectified that now. :-)

The group has an official web page at http://www.indybug.org as well as an official opt-in mailing list, Facebook page, and Twitter feed. I hope I can be forgiven for forgetting yet another form of Internet communication.
