Dimitris Christou creates a dynamic data display in this 4-part videotutorial.

Dimitris writes:

Hello there!

A four parts videotutorial about creating a Data Display thingy in Blender. We’ll use simple objects and some cool techniques to create an interesting clip.

As always the final .blend file is shared through Blendswap. Get it here.

Feel free to experiment and create your own parts. If you find the provided .blend file a bit empty, feel free to fill it up with your own text and creations. Enjoy!

    1. Great tutorial. Well paced and very clear. It’s even inspired me to re-work some of my ancient 2D graph animations using Blender, since its animation system (and ability to use mathematical expressions) provide endless opportunities for this type of work.
