Avemagnadude is back with another awesome mashup – this time Minecraft and Assassin’s Creed 3. Also check out Battlecraft 3 and Team Fortress 2 – Meet the Pyro.

I was wondering about the person behind these videos so I asked him some questions.

Can you tell us a bit about yourself?

I am Anton Espelita from the Philippines. I am 19 years old and I have been playing around in Blender for around 3 years now and in that time, I can say that Blender has truly been a gift in my life. :D

Blender made it possible for me to create new worlds that before only came from imagination or the games that I play in, but instead of playing in worlds created by others, I play in my own world.

Also, I’m proud to say that I was part of The Magic Movie Machine (a collaborative animation team) in their project REVERSION.

How do you produce these movies? Do you do it alone, or in a team?

I produced these mash-ups almost always alone, but sometimes I call for help from my brother. :P

Do you create them fully in Blender, or do you use other tools as well?

I use Blender, Photoshop, and Premiere Pro, the best tools for creating films in my eyes. :D

How much time does each video take to produce?

In creating these short mash-ups that usually last for less than 3 minutes, it would actually take about 3 months, but in those 3 months I spend a lot of time playing games. xD

Any future plans?

Future plans? Well…Just keep making videos. :D
