  1. It's a minor thing but at the same time it should be pointed out that they don't have a tut for it Cekuhnen, you do!!! It looks like a good tutorial so why not just say that you are individual who has put together. I have no issues at all when it comes to self promotion over things like this, however I can see potential conflicts of interest arising over the close links between Blender Nation, Blender Artists and Cg Cookie and the folks providing commercial content and news/reviews on these sites. For example I've read a couple of reviews on commercial tutorials on these pages but I find it difficult to believe that someone's colleague/buddy is going to give a balanced and true opinion to the reader about said product. I think you guys should be open and transparent about any such matters whenever they arise.

    • Well this tutorial is made by me but not about me. I see this as a way to give back to the community and devs of Blender. If you want the source file you might have to become a member of CGCookie, the video however is free to watch.

    • It always tickles me the things people will get annoyed at! :)

Anyhow! Thank you for the spending the time making this tutorial I shall happily watch it now!

I love seeing obscure things made in CGI as it always gives me a fresh take on things. Please don't be shy if you want to post more! :)

  2. @seanser, if they are hosting the tutorial on cgcookie as one of their featured tutorials, then it does  not matter who made it actually. THEY have it, even though it is made by someone who is not permanently a part of the company/site.

Great tutorial btw, nice to have some clothing tutorials around for blender.  :)

Looks good! i might stay out of this one though due to already have modelled a pair of shoes in the old days for Modo 3D! by the way i think we need paid tutorials which are more professional!

How did you get the reference images to line up so well?  They all had the same proportions, and even needed the same x offsets?
    How did you do that?
