Results from the "Saying Goodbye" Blender Competition


Blender Guru shares the results, the runners up and the winner of the "Saying Goodbye" competition.

Andrew Price writes:

6 weeks ago I announced the new Blender competition: "Saying Goodbye".

Artists were given complete creative control to create whatever work they wanted from that theme.

183 entries were received and one winner was selected.

      If you took 10 seconds to read more about the contest you would find out about the prizes. But no, it's easier to just fart up the first thought that comes to mind, isn't it?

        People would still do this even if there wasn't any prize involved... Then again, some people doesn't think the way artists do

    Wow, very talented entries and I'm sure Andrew had a difficult time choosing the clear winner. I think everyone who entered deserves a pat on the back, well done guys. Also amazing the variety of images to represent the entrants ideas of "Saying goodbye" theme. I love the image you headed this article with, its truly inspiring, as its the type of style i really love. I wish there was a way of obtaining some of the blend files to learn from.
