waiting for awesome prices...
What did you expect? A Mac Pro with Adobe Creative Suite CS5?
I know there will be talented people with not so much money, who appreciate these prizes.
even that I have a blender cookie account the Blend Swap account and DVD's are pricless
I think that CG-Cookie workshop membership is a prize I want. Plus Track Match Blend looks awesome.
Was so looking forward to this comp, but I feel that I'll struggle with the rigging - still waiting on that rigging DVD from the blender e-shop - why does rigging scare the hell outa me? ;)
Lee Salvemini Made a rigging DVD that's very good. I used to be afraid of rigging too -- but I've done so much of it now, its pretty cut and dry. Blender's auto-weighting works pretty well.
I think this should be round one up to round three contest every year.I'm too busy to enter..
Character design , is my weakest side when it comes to 3d , but I want to create ONE character for this one , so be AWARE YOU all hahahaha :)
great deal i think... , may be i will send my work...
1st place winner prize < 2nd place winner prize
1st prize is $300 worth, 2nd prize is $145.
Very true, but I'd rather have the Mango, and Track match blend DVD's. I feel like they would be ALOT more useful than a modeling course and some uploading space (which I'd never use). Just my opinion.

Why participating for the Prize? I don't care about the prizes! Its great practice on an awesome subject and at the same time, it'll get you known a bit by the community. In my book, that's a great prize on its own!
You forget the dates, I need to known the last day to upload the model.
It's in the post actually - deadline is april 1st.
I would participate in this with or without a prize just because of my love for the subject. However, I just feel like as far as educational value goes (not the retail value), the 2nd place prize out weighs the 1st. A simple observation based purely off my own opinion. Everyone is different. :)
You've made 4 comments now to point this out - I think you've made your point ;-)
Where (And how) do I need to post my creation when I am finished?
You post the Blend to Blendswap. The judge is supposed to be able to hit F12 and get your result.
Thanks, but do I need to post the download link for my thing in the comments or something?
I guess I don't understand. You upload the blend to blendswap, and they pass it on to the judges.
Follow the link below the article and read the rules:
"Once you’ve uploaded your finished model for the contest make sure and have the model tagged with: FantasyContest".
