This is my first post of a final work of mine. I've picked at it for the better part of year as a Blender/Luxrender Learning project. I've certainly learned a great deal, which in turn as allowed me to do more work for my clients as a graphic designer. Thanks to all the crits I received both on this forum and the Luxrender forum. By the way, I think the Luxrender devs give better "customer service" than a paid software company.

Cool! I like the curtains and how it's flowing.
Excellent image. I love the message, mood, modeling, everything.
Respect. A great work, this is. First time i've seen a 3D render, which has a feeling to it. The artist clearly has a great head, as well as heart !
Clever job. The golden light and plane reminded me of the first 20 minutes of Heavy Rain.
Very Nice! Completely agree with the top two posts. Nice capture of mood and feeling; excellent all over.
It bring back memories of my youth, thanks for posting it.
Luxrender looks a little cartoony though.

It's about the toning, modelling and how the materials are set up if something looks cartoony.
In this case it's very saturated and the sky is quite dark for what you could expect.
