I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.

it looks good, but the lid looks too blurry. this doesn’t make sense. though, the overall result is awesome and very realistic.
For a moment I thought it said: “With UV Projection”.
I like the result. It gives the feel that it’s 8 in the morning, you just woke up, and go wash your face, come back to the bedroom and see that the facial cream is laying on the table with the lid open.
Product photographers sometimes View Cameras to create the focus like in the image above. These cameras allow for independent tilt and shift of the lens and film plane and thus allow a camera operator to create focus such as above in real life, including the open lid being out of focus and the bottom corner being slightly out of focus while the top corner being completely in focus. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tilt-shift_photography —- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/View_camera
