At Blendswap Rui Teixeira aka "SlykDrako" offers this bedroom scene he tested Cycles with for free. The blend file has all the models, node materials, and lights. However only textures are missing. If you are interested in learning how to use Cycles and interior rendering setups this might be a good file to study.

Deja vu!! This is funny for me: Some month ago I wanted to test cycles, so I searched on blendswap for a scene to illuminate, and I choose actually this same scene! lol! So I confirm in advance that it's a good scene for study.

thanks!! Might consider switching back to Blender for rendering once cycles is stable and officially released. Currently using Max with Mental Ray or VRay.

There looks to be some problems with this scene (maybe because of different Cycles version) I will look into that as soon as I can and update the file (hopefully with textures this time).

Hello, everybody!
I am a beginner. I know little to nothing regarding rendering. Rendering with GPU gives me a black image while rendering with CPU gives me some white spots and kind of horizontal rainbow. Is there anything I should do to the scene?
@Obladiobama I uploaded a new version yesterday (same link). Download that version and see if everything renders fine (remember to unpack the textures or you will get that black image).
