This short animation by Studio Datdatdat (Andereas Fischer) shows off some really cool abstract motion graphics.
Andreas writes:
All around procedural shaders built with the Blender node material system. Particles & post done in After Effects.
You can find stills from the video at the Studio Datdatdat website.

Incredible !
Very interesting...
WOW! Thats some really cool effects Thanks for sharing.
Thats wonderful. I like the others at the Studio Datdatdat too. Is there a screen saver version anywhere?
Thanks for sharing.
really cool colors and effects
thanks for sharing
Now THAT needs a tutorial!
I love it! I second wanting a tutorial! This is cool!
I really like it, specially the particles falling from the sphere at the beginning!
Quite vivid and fluid, great layers!
I love the bubbly-oily colors near the end. It shows procedurals can still give fluid simulations a run for its ram.
Hey, glad to hear you like the video! Cheers, Andreas -- Studio Datdatdat
so nice >>where was blender used exactly??
@duncan yes others are nice too ... Egyptrixx Was selected as Vimeo Staff Picks ,,i remember
I love the effects but I do wonder, what was the point of it. What inspired you to make such a creation?
what was this shit ????
I like it for the simple reason that not everything needs to be real, or pushed to a finished product.
Its experimentation for the sake of learning how to make something beautiful, abstract yet functional /if/ you can imagine it to be.
3D is meant for this sort of thing...everything else might as well be photography.
@Yudhir - i used blender for the landscape / fluid in the 2nd and 3rd shot.
@ Jonathon - I am interested in semi-autonomous / generative systems and the idea of ever-changing procedural landscapes. I created a node setup with a displacement modifier which constantly changes.
@Drew - Thanks, I second that.
The starting and the finishing is interesting, but the mid part is could have been better. But, cheers, good work! :)
