Scripting a Custom Tool Menu

Patrick Boelens has a interesting scripting video tutorial on Blender Cookie, covering how to make custom menus. Well worth a watch if you’re interesting in Blender Python scripting.

I simply CANNOT encourage people to learn this stuff enough. I watched the tutorial, but he should have mentioned that there are templates built in that you can start from that would have save a LOT of time from what he did, but it’s good he did it to show what all the stuff is there for. If we all write scripts we can make blender ROCK:)

Please point out the templates so that the people that want to play UI can.

Sometimes people do not know things you know…….that is why we share info….so others can learn…and make Blendering all the more fun :-)
