Not a spectacular meeting this week, it seems that everyone is just busy doing his thing.

Hi all,
Relative short and compact meeting today!
2.5x project progress
- Bastien Montagne explains his Node 'mute' proposal. Ton suggests for now to either disable 'mute' on Material/Texture nodes, or code it the simple way as it is now for Compositor. A callback method for node muting seems like a bit overkill, but optionally it could work. Should be checked on when other node redesign topics are reviewed.
- Bug tracker at 174 open reports now.
Other Projects
- Cycles: Brecht made notes for how Texture Workflow could work. He will continue on this with also UI proposal (mockup, proof of concept code) and then ask for official reviews.
- Meeting is fine with giving Sjoerd de Vries a branch for integration & proofing work for the "Hive" game logic system. He can contact Ton for further arrangements.
- Janne Karhu approved a patch for particles (adaptive subframes), the developer for patch likes to add a credit for company in SVN. That's of course OK. However: In general we could check on proper GPL header contributor credit conventions... might be related to having a 'contributor agreement' in place as well.
Google Summer of Code
- Ton reconfirms that students should work on a presentation of their design and plans (and results) in wiki. A concise overview that works for everyone to understand what goes on, review it or help out!
- One student missing (not replying mails or phone): Christopher Neal, student at http://www.sas.upenn.edu. If anyone knows him, tell us if all's OK there?

We should start a 'Have you seen Christopher?' group on facebook... :p
I hope things are okay with Mr. Neal.
Ran into a nasty glitch with official 2.57:
open up blender
select scripting layout
press + on the script window (add a new text -without saving)
type something in the text window (not the python interpreter)("bla bla") will do.
put cursor over 3d window
press ctrl+z (or undo) -in object mode on default scene
and viola! -your script just got deleted in front of your very eyes!
I'm new with reporting bugs so someone please have this checked out :)
-haven't tried this on new builds.
@Dweezler, ctrl-z is undo, have you tried typing shift-ctrl-z or ctrl-y to redo?
Hope Christopher is alright.
Thanks everybody for your hard work!
Blender Rocks!
@LswaN -doesn't work -but if the blender file's saved the glitch goes away. -for that file. It's probably nothing
anyone can flee from GSOC
