Libre Graphics World published an interview with David Revoy who did an awesome job as both art director and concept artist of "Sintel" short animation movie. David talks about using free graphics software on deadlines, use of experimental tools like Al.chemy, his involvement in MyPaint project and, of course, work on "Sintel".

Nice interview ;)
David it's great fench freelancer artist.
Great Interview :)
I'm curious to see David's path in the future.
David you are an inspiration. I love your DVD, really opened my world up. and inspired me to learn 2d art.
If any of you guys out there want to be a better artist, you can't miss Chaos and Evolutions. Even if you have no intent on learning 2d art, the concepts described inside will help you become better 3d artists.
Rock on David! You're one of my heros!
I love the Blender projects. Every time unknown people with great talents and gifts pop out of the dark, and are able to show a large community their great skills.
Thanks David for your part, to make Sintel shine!
Wish you great and big projects :)
He does really cool artwork, check out his website too http://www.davidrevoy.com/ for tutorials on how to use open source programs to create concept art.
Wat an inspiration .. cheers Revoy
Ditto what 3dementia said - David's tutorial DVD rocks.
David,
I really enjoy all the interviews with the Sintel team.
