The timing is great as I’m just finishing up reading The Pixar Touch by David A Price, an excellent book that offers an inside look at Pixar’s story. Finding balance never looks so vital.

That was a great interview. The presenter asked all the right questions and actually let the guest speak.

It was interesting to hear how they fire people if they can’t work in a team, regardless of their skill. That’s a very important lesson for me.

I used to work with a company with the same mindset. However when the investors get nervous and want work done the “old fashion” way to increase profits then everything nice and dandy goes to hell. Lesson to learn: don’t make your company public! cough – Disney – cough.
