Osaka Blender party photos

blender-osaka-2009Blender users in Osaka, Japan, came together last week. Here’s a quick report by Tony Mullen.

Here are some snaps from the Osaka Blender party on Nov 7th. Unfortunately, I didn’t get around to announcing it on Blendernation in advance, but it was announced on various Japanese websites and was quite well attended. Yamyam, Nanmo, Shige, and I all gave brief talks about our latest Blender work. Everybody had a good time talking Blender, eating food, and drinking.

The pictures are from the lectures and the after-party.

I had a laugh at the guy over the back raising his arms in triumph – but with a dead-pan expression on his face! And the guy with the little card. =D

Looks like a good bunch of guys. I’d love to get to Japan some day.
