Chile: We’re making a parallel Blender Conference here in Chile the 23rd of October. It is a one day conference and is part of a bigger event called Encuentro Linux, so we’re actually making a pretty big event. The Blender Conference is one of the activities of five, from the Universities organizing the event for the 23rd.
The website is in Spanish and it shows the program of the event and our guests, from which we have Ivan Hoffmann (ex PlumÃferos, now Licuadora Studio) coming from Argentina to speak about the magic he does with composing in Blender, Alfonso de la Guarda (Peru’s Army’s Directive of Technology Development Consultant) coming from Peru to speak about Blender’s Game Engine, Nicolas Alvarado, who made “The Widow” shown here in Blendernation some days ago, Pablo BarrÃa an Arquitect and Gabriel Gonzales who is a Audiovisual Comunicator.
Apart from Blender speeches we’ll be showing how to make art for Gnome by the hand of Daniel Gallegillos, a demo of open source Audio/Midi creation software by Juan Carlos Inostroza and everything you must know about Creative Commons by Alvaro Olivares, a lawyer specialized in open licenses.
