yafray logoThe first development version of YaraRay 0.1.2 has been published, with some new features and fixes.

New features

  • Automatic thread detection.
  • IES lamps.
  • QT mouse control improved. Now you can pan, zoom, with the mouse on qt window.

Fixes

  • Several fixes in Materials: glossy, coated glossy and blend.
  • Integrators fixes: photonmap, pathtracing.
  • Light: background light refactor.
  • Qt relook and resize fixed.
  • Sun light.
  • faster maths.

I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!).
