Sandra Gilbert writes: As excitement builds around the launch of the Durian Project, we decided to share in some of the fun and devote an issue to Epic Fantasy. This issue is filled with articles that are guaranteed to inspire you to start a few epics of your own. And speaking of the Durian Project, the team members have all arrived and are already starting to get things organized for their Epic Fantasy. Preliminary Blender Development Projects have already been established and discussions are already underway for developing the visual style of the movie.

GIMP 2.7 Development Release
Meet the Durian team!
Project Durian has kicked off this weekend with a week-long meeting of all the team members (except for Campbell Barton). Last night I met them all during dinner in Amsterdam and shot this short movie in which they all introduce themselves (more info on the team on the Durian blog). As a bonus, Ton will be giving away the first details of the plot! (In addition to few other, not-so-shocking details ;-)
PS: yes, I skipped someone – Angela’s husband. That was rather rude of me – terribly sorry!
