victolyWe just finished the migration to our new webserver and we’re stil testing the waters. Please report any funky website behaviour here.

      @Hedge: we were running on old hardware (2years+), so I’m expecting better reliability and performance in the short term. On the long term, we also moved from PHP4 to PHP5 which means we can use a few newer WordPress plugins that I’ve been eyeballing for a while now.. Wait and see :)

      On my own computer I haven’t noticed much differences but on school it loads much faster!

      I haven’t noticed any differences on my own computer, but here at school the site loads faster etc. Though I can’t see the larger version of the image ^^

      Content caches are now also back up, so the site performance should be a *lot* better for everyone!

      One small thing I just noticed, in the sidebar it says:
      0 tutorials, downloadable models, textures and more!
      I’d say there are quite a few more than zero ;) (I don’t know if the number was already zero before the server change)

      Hi,

      When I try and view http://www.blenderartists.org using the Mac OS X version of Mozilla Firefox (3.0.10) I get a pop-up Authentication
      Required message which says

      A username and password are being requested by http://blendserve.blendimages.com. The site says:”Default”

      This didn’t happen before the migration. I can view the site fine in other browsers and using the windows version of
      firefox.

      @Lars: yes, I’m looking into serving zipped content. It currently interferes with our caching though so it’ll take a little time to fix.
