TrueSpace story ending
Microsoft took over Caligari TrueSpace earlier last year and later released the software as freeware. They have now decided to discontinue TrueSpace – the first services will be disabled by tomorrow. This is a truly sad day for their loyal user base.

Melbourne Blender Society Meeting, 27th May
Melbourne Blender Society have planned their next usermeeting for next week’s Wednesday, the 27th of May.
Venom’s Lab DVD will have English audio track
From blender.org: “After tests with English subtitles – which didn’t work at all – we decided to produce [the Venom's Lab DVD] with 2 audio tracks, Spanish and English.”. That is a most excellent decision guys! It will make the DVD much, much, much more useful for everybody. PLUS we get to hear Venom’s cool English/Spanish accent as a bonus :)

TOSMI 2009 – Application deadline approaching
TOSMI 2009 is from August 10, 2009 – August 30 in Sofia, Bulgaria. It’s a yearly training event with a heavy emphasis on Blender. Signup closes on June 20th.
