Article submitted by Yorik van Havre. Chico Ortiz (Thorgal on blenderartists) just made a small but excellent blender game. The game was made for an exhibition called "Santos Dumont, designer" in São Paulo, Brazil, until 3rd of May. The exhibition shows many aeroplane sketches and models (one is full-size), and Chico made a small flight simulation game which runs on 4 screens inside the exhibition, so visitors can experiment flying the planes.
The Ott Planetarium have released a new movie for their dome projector, called 'The Nature of Science'. You can see the entire show on their website, but like they say: 'but it's much better in the planetarium!'. Indeed. Any shows planned here in the Netherlands? :)

In the past few days a new campaign was released by Fiat to promote a new car. And this time whole web site of the campaign used Blender 3D to create stills and animations of the new car.

"Cocedi" (meaning "Neighbours") is a short Russian animation made in Blender. I especially like the intro sequence, which is a good mesh between visuals and music.
You can help the MakeHuman team by creating model morph targers with their new script, makeTarget.
[Multiblend] connects to multiple computers on your network, and lets Blender render in parallel on each. This will drastically improve your rendering speeds!
Multiblend is a standalone Python script that runs from outside Blender. This means you can even use it on machines that don't have powerful graphics cards, like older computers or servers.
