There are lots of tutorials, videos and books available to learn Blender, but the easiest way of learning is still to see someone else use it. For most people this is easier said than done of course. Blenducation aims to solve this by offering live Blender classes on the web – you can look over the shoulder of well-known Blender community members and interact with them. Blenducation offers a combination of free and paid classes.

Kernon Dillon, author of BlenderNewbies.com and publisher of the Blender Newbies Video Tutorial DVD, has published a 41 minute videotutorial on creating layered 2D snowflakes.

Vitorbalbio has posted a few of his Blender Game Engine works over at Blenderartists.org. The quality of the work is amazing, using a lot of the newer features and tools of the game engine. There's some nice pictures to look at, and the main piece, entitled 'Ruinas', can be downloaded as a .exe to view and explore for yourself in realtime.
