Dia Blender – Bogotá, Colombia, November 13th
The first Colombian Blender event (as far as we’re aware) is coming up on November 13th! The 12-hour ‘Dia Blender’ has free entry to the workshops, shows and conferences.

Hey, that’s great news! Wish I could be there. John was my host and guide in Bogota when I attended LOOP in August, and I know there are plenty of enthusiastic and gifted Blender users there, so I’m sure this will be a great success!

Great news ! I was in Bogota in 2005 and also had a great time there with John, I hope the Colombian Blender Community keeps on growing and getting stronger every day !

Well, this event is something I have dreamed of for quite some time. Recently the same purpose arose in a group called “Núcleo Digital” (this group belongs to Tecnoparque Colombia) so it was the opportunity I have been waiting for :)
We’re working hard on targetting the Blender community AND design professionals that could eventually be interested in knowing about Blender (Big Buck Bunny and Yo Frankie have drawed a lot of attention from many people recently…) so that in that scenario many good things can come up.
I will be reporting back on how it went, hopefully including recordings of the talks!
