Gamers get creative - Blender on the BBC, again!

"Video game enthusiasts from the Midlands have taken part in a project to create their own video game from scratch in Birmingham."

This video was shot at this year's Dare to be Digital contest. We got in touch with the team that used Blender and walked away with one of the three prizes of £2,500! Full report on that tomorrow later this week.

Check out the video here.

Cool! Awesome! It's really neat that team was using Blender, too. I would like to know how to make video games myself. I've had quite a lot of interest in that in the past… oh well, maybe I will create a great game someday… now the focus is film (at least for the digital world.)

Birmingham? Woot, that's where I live too. Hadn't realised that there were any other blenderheads in these parts.

I'm guessing that the BBC will produce/outsource their next 3D animation with Blender.
