Cute paper art made with Blender

The Mexican city of Guadalajara is being invaded by a small army of funny looking TENTAhooDs. Sightings are posted on a weblog, and if you manage to find one it's yours!

Mexican designer Gilberto "GILBoY" Aguilar wrote:

My name is Gilberto to Aguilar Hernandez I am of Guadalajara Jalisco Mexico. I am one of the students of Oscar Alvarado, I want to present you and share with the Blender community this project totally open source. The project is called room 478 in which I am introducing the first series of my papercrafttoys which they are totally free and can be dowloaded from this page 4-7-8.blogspot.com. This toys was made with Blender and illustrated whith Gimp and this a new way to take Blender to new uses. The full proyect starts officially 16/8/08. I hope you like the proyect becuse the 3rd series is about to bee the Blender series soo this my proposal and well seeya soon.

I love this idea :) You can download the template below to create your own TENTAhooD, plant it somewhere and mail a picture of its location to Gilberto. Who's gonna plant a few over here in the Netherlands?

    Funny how to collective unconscious works… Just yesterday I started making a ladybug soon to be cut up and constructed with paper.

    hi im the creator of the TENTAHooDs you can go to the page here http://4-7-8.blogspot.com and download the full series 1 of the TENTAHooDs ,and the plot of the colective is make free desingner toys for everyone and also make something like the stencil movement about to let your art in the streets for everyone thats all (Sorry for my bad English) seeya soon…
