New Headers Selected, Header Rotator Added

After last week's call for a new header we received almost 30 submissions! I've picked the 10 best and added them to the site.
All of them? Yes! Several people have suggested rotating through the header images automatically, so I've added this function to the site. Instead of displaying a new image with each pageview though, I've chosen to display a new image every day. That should make browsing faster and I think it's a bit easier on the eyes.

Although Im just curious if youll be rotating the old headers also?
@JSG: yeah, I saw it but found it a little bland with all the blue..

Thats some nice headers! Really like MP's and -lile.
It's good to know it won't load an image every page load because I get crazy of all those image rotators that display a new image every page load. Not because of the images I have to download but because of the chaos it creates. I've once seen a website with a very confusing image rotator.

It was rated X instead of G.

Sorry for double posting, but another suggestion…
Suppose a headhunter goes to Blendernation and is wowed by the header…
Maybe there should be a link with more details… an "about our header" link with contact info or portfolio/personal website (if not kept private) in case someone is looking for people to hire.
If potential employers just had to click on the header to have the info…

I love that MP's submission made it in. One of the best of the blender artists and his simplest work ever for the cube challenge made the cut. Pure awesome. Bunch of great submissions though definitely like Lile's the most. Those eyes are captivating.
@ray: I guess you are right. Seems to be a Datura… I modeled it after a picture a friend gave me, thinking it was some sort of lily…. I didn't mean to do a drug commercial, would have done some fungies instead…. ;)

I do have to say that I dig Ecks' lightbulb2.
The new header is nice but why the name of the author is so deep dark?!? Make it eye friendly, please.

Today's picture looks like they made the gradient too light a blue, as it clashes with the darker blue used with the header background.

Today is my kodak moment :)
I think this is the first work in BGE to compose a blendernation header, right?
This is a screen direct from the game, no post-production on it.
I didn't put my name because there are other people in the team that also have a part in this job.
Some of then: Mike Pan, Pinuja (modeler), and all the team from the first phase of the project.
Could we add a Favicon to the site please?

Is the rotator taking less then one day per image?
@Dalai: yeah, the script is still a work in progress. I had to make a few minor changes to it which caused it to restart. I'm still figuring out how to add new headers to it without screwing up the existing order, so you may see another few hickups :) To answer your question: it's supposed to show only one image per day.
