The Ninja Fortress by Falgor

"I've been making this animation during the past 7 months in between my studies and work, and I seized the opportunity to use the animation for a short film competition in the Assembly 2008 demo party Assembly.org, held in Helsinki Finland every year.

I placed third in the competition. It's all made with Blender. The musics and sound effects I made myself as well. My main goal was to make people laugh and have a good time while watching the video :).

    That one was great, really like the sound effects and voices, some music were played really loud compared to all of the other sounds though.
    Looking forward to the next release in 2088 then..

    Hi,
    Thanks guys! Yeah, I did my best under the time frame (you can read more details about it in the vimeo page). The most important thing for me was to get the "story" done and I had to do stuff pretty fast in order to get the "vessel" (animation) ready for the passenger (story, jokes) to travel in it. If someone got laughs, I've got a succesful mission :). Thanks again guys :).

    Nice man i rather liked it..
    One thing though…. the poster has "Ninja fortress" in english and then underneither has like 20 RANDOM japanese characters that dont actually mean anything at all….so the bit underneath is 100% different to the bit on top, uve got like 1 for each letter…eveno japanese doesnt HAVE letters….(chinese or korean doesnt either).

    but the omvie was good, my only gripe is the gibberish under the name.

    squall789. Your guess is as good as mine. I think it's chinese…=? Probably reads "I'm selling fishsticks tonight at 9pm at the market square".

    Well..it could be either really.considering most japanse kanji comes from chinese anyways, eitherway its gibberish in both languages, ninja fotress would just be 忍者砦 HEHE, (slightly shorter then i expected…i forgot fortress is only one kanji…tho tbh…its not like ive had many occasions where i need to type that haha).
