Tony Mullen will be hosting a series of Blender-related workshops and presentations in Bogota, Colombia this August. It seems like BlenderHeads are being invited to show up all over the world these days. Time to post my résumé somewhere ;-)

Hi! I wanted to let people know that I’m getting my plans in order to travel to Bogota, Colombia in August to take part in the LOOP 2008 festival, where I’ll spend a week giving a total of 13 hours of Blender-related workshops and presentations! I’ll be giving seminars on game creation and character animation, as well as an in-depth workshop on Python scripting for Blender. I’m very excited to visit Latin America for my first time, and I’ll definitely plan to pack a few copies of the Spanish version of “Introducing Character Animation with Blender” alongside my phrasebook!
The website for the festival is here.
I know there are a lot of great Blender artists in Latin America, so if anybody is in the area and able to attend the festival, I’d love to meet them!
Tony
