Rocketman has been working lately on an impressive online comic using Blender and several other open source programs. The comics follow a small group of robots, throughout several humorously entertaining sketches.
Rocketman writes:
“Everything is done exclusively with free software. The characters are modelled and rendered in Blender, with layout and speech bubbles in Inkscape and image editing in GIMP- all under a flavor of Ubuntu Linux. Hell, I even wrote most of the html code (poorly) in Vim!”
There are currently 19 comic strips and Rocketman updates the site every Saturday with a new page. You can check out the thread on blenderartists.org or go directly to the site. And dont forget to start reading from the first comic strip in the series!
