Skydome Maker

From Markus Kothe

The other day a was searching the internet for some skydomes to use for easy and nice reflections and AO light. When I didn't found any I liked I said to myself…

"Why don't I make some myself? Blender should be capable of that"

So now I have set up a system for easy making of sky domes. Skymaker is available for download at it's homepage

I use this method all the time. At one time I was going to release a "Sky Materials" .blend file with a lot of cool skys I've done in Blender, but never got the time.

And, to make the clouds look better, I suggest turning up the Noise Depth.

If only I had a dollar for every time I heard "I couldn't find any, so I made one myself." Or better yet, if only I could make one myself every time I needed some resource…

It's nice to know about this program, but there's no anlysis of the program, description, or material on using it with Blender.
