I have a LONG history with Blender - I wrote some of the earliest Blender tutorials, worked for Not a Number and helped run the crowdfunding campaign that open sourced Blender (the first one on the internet!). I founded BlenderNation in 2006 and have been editing it every single day since then ;-) I also run the Blender Artists forum and I'm Community Lead at n8n.
Lol I have actually thought of making a fan club… never got the time to execute the thought thou :x Needs some work though… black and white boxes with default font is not kewl :P
I still have the clothes that I wore during the first blender conference we were together at, neatly packaged in a vacuum bag as to preserve all possible odeurs and dna that may have been transmitted during coughing, hand shaking etc.)
OK! Even I if don’t know what Brecht thinks about all that, I can’t but contribute. Why fan clubs should be just for certain professions and not for some others? ;) And because I’m grateful to Brecht that I even came to use Blender (because of that groovy UV unwrapping he made), I’m in too! :-D
