Another Brazilian TV commercial made with Blender

Blender TV CommercialDo you remember the TV commercials made by the guys of ZQuatro, from Brazil? Well, they just released another one. This time it`s for a Brazilian fast food chain, called Bugaloo.

The only part of the animation, that wasn't made with Blender is the background. The post was made with After Effects. Here is a link to the commercial, at ZQuatro web site.

The responsible for the animation, was Lucio Cavalcanti. If you want to know how they did it, here is a making of video:

The video shows ZQuatro creative director Hime Navarro, making the performance for the animation. They used Navarro video to animate with rotoscopy.

    I think this animation is great! Specially the left side the kitchen and chef are photo realistic.

    Not sure I want to buy my pizza from the guy that drops it on the floor though. Maybe that is what the hippo is sing about.

    Don't buy pizza from a clumzy chef
    Buy a burger from a dancing hippo instead

    It is not a photorealistic cg human it is a real human dancing in there

    Hehe. It looks very cool. =] Here is the translation:

    Rhino: Does it have Sandwich? It has. Mexican? Its has. It has Japanese and Pizza as well. Does it have? It has.
    Voice over: Does it have? it has. Bugaloo has.
    Rhino: Bugaloo has everything I like.
    Voice over: There is much fun in Bugaloo's kids' week.
    Rhino: This is the one I like.

    wow, sushi, mexican food and pizza in one place. It sounds like heaven. Too bad its so far away. Oh, and the animation is good also but now I can't stop thinking about food.

    mto legal sabe q tem gnt assim no brasil, geralmente essas parada d animação é com os estados unidos.
