Another Brazilian TV commercial made with Blender

Blender TV CommercialDo you remember the TV commercials made by the guys of ZQuatro, from Brazil? Well, they just released another one. This time it`s for a Brazilian fast food chain, called Bugaloo.

The only part of the animation, that wasn’t made with Blender is the background. The post was made with After Effects. Here is a link to the commercial, at ZQuatro web site.

The responsible for the animation, was Lucio Cavalcanti. If you want to know how they did it, here is a making of video:

The video shows ZQuatro creative director Hime Navarro, making the performance for the animation. They used Navarro video to animate with rotoscopy.

      I think this animation is great! Specially the left side the kitchen and chef are photo realistic.

      Not sure I want to buy my pizza from the guy that drops it on the floor though. Maybe that is what the hippo is sing about.

      Don’t buy pizza from a clumzy chef
      Buy a burger from a dancing hippo instead
