Peach Media Gallery updates

river.jpgDiscovered by Len at Blenderartists. See post here. It seems some new things have been periodically posted in the Peach Media Gallery.

Update??: I don’t recall seeing these. Little .ogg videos of some animation tests. Its possible these aren’t new, but even if there aren’t, someone could have missed them.

Please keep in mind Sago has clarified that this test is an early try and doesn’t represent the current state.

      The grass looks awesome, but the river is a bit blurry, in the movie it seems like cloth moving from one end towards the other, instead of fluid… Maybe they are using some texturing fakes to reduce the rendering times?

      You guys can complain about this, but they have already said that this was just an early test. I am unconcerned, the final should look great.

      In other news this morning, there’s a new blog post with a few revealing tid-bits. I didn’t know there were any other characters other than the ones shown, and honestly, the bird is already my favorite design:

      Keep up the great work guys, I can’t wait for the final. Also, if it’s possible, I would rather see a delay than a rushed product.

      Im at work right now so I cant see the vids. But I cant wait to get home and see them. They sound awesome. And the pic on this article looks awesome!

      Can anyone from the Peach team reveal what the lighting setup is for this river scene?
