Dream team reunited for Peach

groupshot.jpgThe most recent Peach blog post brings some great news to the Peach team. The team has been staring with wide eyes at the approaching headlights of the deadline. Many things have slowed the progress of animating. So the dream team comes in. Peach has hired some old faces to help out.

From the Peach blog:

And that brings me to our big announcement: We have hired almost the entire (Elephants) Dream Team (plus a small portion of Plumiferos), to help animating! Please give it up for the external Dream (or slave?) Team team consisting of Bassam Kurdali (Slikdigit), Lee Salvemini (LohnS), Bastian Salmela (Basse), and Claudio Andaur (Malefico) from Plumiferos. They work remotely, in their spare time, helping us getting those shots out of the door.

Please give them a big round of applause. These guys are truly saving our behinds.

Give your encouragement to this great team. Both the new (old) additions and the existing team have busy months ahead. See the blog post here.

      mmmmmhhhh….. ok:
      in italy we say: “l’unione fa la forza” (to be together gives strength… or something like that!)
      it’s incredible how much you use your time for a no-profit project! and you all are the best! thank you

      I applaud this new development… but still… I’m a little puzzled… I remember this even being planned (this is a good thing, mind you). But I would’ve found it a little scary to hinge part of Peach on “external help”… but with these guys it’s “_dependable_ external help” so I’m all comfy and cosy with the idea now.

      Can’t wait to see the siggraph demo reel… and people (again) going bug-eyed when you tell them it’s free and all that jazz.

      I was wondering whether Peach will be using any fluid dynamics in the movie… can’t wait to see it :)
