Happy 2008!!

newyear.jpgFrom the entire BlenderNation team, let me send you the best wishes for 2008! We raise our glass you, the Blender Community, for making this little 3D app such a huge success. The activity in 2007 was amazing: development was faster than ever, the artwork is getting better and better, more and more tutorials and other documentation have been written, and the amount of activity in all the international Blender communities is unbelievable.

We'll keep on covering all this to our best abilities, but let me ask you: what are your personal Blender goals for 2008?

(Thanks to Victor Silva for the cool picture!)

My Blender goal for 2008 is to start blending again and end this creativity blockade that lasts for over a year now… :-(
Still no idea how to achieve that goal though.

The only thing i have done in Blender in 2007 is a screw nut for a customer's 32*32 windows icon ;-)

My goals are for it to finally have voxels, have demolitions and explode modifier in it instead of in a seperate build, and I plan to do some cool specialeffects

My Blender targets will be (yes, I'm already in the progress of making a movie-quality animation) to work more on that animation. I've taken a long break and I think I should GET BACK TO BLENDER. (sorry, programming, I love you too, don't worry)

I will also see how I can contribute to the upcoming BlenderLife (search on blenderartists for the thread)

I will also be hopefully giving some clever upgrades and stuff to the Blender Model Repository. If YOU can't think of something to do, then just submit your models to the BMR! http://e2-productions.com/repository/

Surprisingly enough, my goal is to try really hard not to code any new stuff into blender, otherwise I'll fail all my exams and my ambitions to become a guitarist will be completely ruined! :( The trouble is … it's so distracting!! (and I've started to tinkle with some code now as well - gulp…) Oh well, hehehe… ;)
