O.K., they giggle, it's no different than say, learning the planets in elementary school, you know, Uranus.

Lets put this thing to bed now and hopefully, just enjoy the animation for what it is, my silly animation exercise and ribbing the Peach project crew.

Sorry, but I'm afraid that it does, at least in the minds of every teenager I've encountered while teaching here over the last three years. My students here have on occasion tried to get me to say it by pointing to their lower jaws and asking me what the English word is (with big, expectant smiles on their faces as they ask, of course). Actually, that word, and any word starting with the same four letters, invariably gets smirks/giggles in English class. Another meaning of "chin" is a sort of "Imperial 'We'", and one of my co-workers told me about being embarrassed as a child the first time he heard it.

Chin by itself is not a Japanese word (to my knowledge, and I lived there for 7 years). It does begin many words which are perfectly innocuous. Repeat it and you do have a child's euphemism for male genitalia, but there should be no danger of Japanese viewers thinking of that when the name is just a single use of the word chin. Any Japanese blenderheads out there feel free to correct me.

I hope the actors don't go on strike! :D

Also, if Chin is a bad word, then Japanese must really get a laugh at the expense of Chinese people. It's a very common name.
