My students here have on occasion tried to get me to say it by pointing to their lower jaws and asking me what the English word is (with big, expectant smiles on their faces as they ask, of course). Actually, that word, and any word starting with the same four letters, invariably gets smirks/giggles in English class. Another meaning of "chin" is a sort of "Imperial 'We'", and one of my co-workers told me about being embarrassed as a child the first time he heard it.
