Hello everyone! I'm glad you've been enjoying the .blend file.

For those of you who have had problems finding a working build version, I have good news and bad news. The bad news is that there's not a specific build that I used to create this file. I downloaded the source from SVN and compiled it myself. For those of you familiar with subversion, you can checkout revision 12676 and everything should work fine after you compile.

That said, there is good news (at least for Windows and Linux users), there is a build on graphicall.org that should work for you. There's an SVN build on November 12th by alexv (Linux, Windows) that should work fine with this .blend file. For you guys using Macs, I'm sorry. I didn't see any builds on graphicall.org that I could guarantee working for you.

Hope that helps!

First i forgot to change the render output directory to my home directory and blender crashed... I like the windows less design, but in this case I think a little error window would not hurt. To figure this out I used gdb and a debug build. But why crash anyway... why not use a different directory and recover automatically?

Still need to actually watch the Tutorial itself, but from what i heard/read so far I can't wait to do so. Not to speak of picking apart and learning from the blend file - many thanks for that :D
