‘Animación de Personajes con Blender’

9788441523050.gifSpanish publisher Anaya Multimedia has translated Tony Mullen’s ‘Introducing Character Animation with Blender’ into Spanish.

Tony was both surprised and pleased with this news, and I think this is a great step forward for the Spanish Blender community. At €54,33 the price is a little steep but it may well be worth it if you need the book in Spanish. More info on the publisher’s website.

      No way!!!! You’re sugar-coating the big problem by saying “the price is a little steep”. I don’t understand how is financially factible for a US$ 80 spanish book when you can find the english and original version for just US$27.

      Here in Colombia we have “this little problem” with Anaya Multimedia books: They have top-quality books, excellent presentation, but extremely expensive… they’re not affordable by the average college student.

      I’ll keep using the english version , hoping that my college “sponsors me” the spanish version.

      Anyway… kudos for Tony… magnificent achievement!!

      Juan, Anaya no solo posee esos precios inalcanzables, sino que sus traducciones dejan mucho que desear. Esperemos que éste no sea el caso. Pero en fin. Peor es nada, no?

      Gracias Martín!
      Pues creo que el problema de la traducción es que nunca nos acostumbraremos a utilizar términos como “montaje” en vez de Rigging, “claves de forma” en vez de Shape Keys… Pero en definitiva nunca usaría “sincronización de audio” en vez de lip sync. Esto será para mirar con lupa y hacerle recomendaciones a Tony.

      Totalmente de acuerdo contigo. Pero el problema más grave es que en varios libros que he tenido de Anaya, hay errores de traducción, o en las figuras, y cuando uno está aprendiendo, lo último que uno imagina es que el libro está mal! Quizá pasa por la celeridad con la que se traduce, o con que los traductores no pertenecen al ambiente. A tener en cuenta. Un abrazo desde Argentina, y estamos en contacto!

      bueno yo tengo el libro y estoy en la pagina 200, es verdad la traduccion en ocasiones deja que desear. y de los grandes problemas es que faltan archivos guias, imagenes a color (por lo menos en la parte de mapeo UV), contradicciones en el nombramiento de las partes de los huesos. pero si esto se corrigiera seria una publicacion notable.

      lo que me he dado cuenta es que frente a estas dificultades uno aprende mas. con decirles que me toco ir a amazom para ver la fe de erratas y continuar con el libro.
