Making of “The Croc”

The CrocThe 3DCreative magazine has published another great making of, for a scene created with Blender. Now the scene is part of their challenge "Stylized Animal". An artist called Al-Haitham Jassar used Blender to create "The Croc", and he won the second place for this challenge.

    Very nice work. Kudos.

Motivates me to practice the sculpt tool for some reason.

I love that fish's expression. Its not worried at all, which makes the croc look even more ridiculous.

Great job! I'm wondering though why he didn't just use Blender's sculpt mode instead of Mudbox….

Thank you all for the great comments and support ^.^

roofoo, good question! it's because blender becomes very slow when I use the sculpt mode at high polygon counts, it seems that one gig of RAM is way too low for this type of work lol…
