@t3d: I was referring to the BlenderNation effect ;-) The download speed of that server has dropped from 900kb/s this afternoon to 14kb/s; I guess quite a few people are downloading those videos at this moment..

Never mind my previous statement it not missing, it just that the link on the videos page is mislabeled. It points to "http://download.blender.org/download.blender.org/documentation/bc2007/movies/D1_0tonkeynote.mov"
    and should be "http://download.blender.org/documentation/bc2007/movies/D1_0tonkeynote.mov"

Hi - seems that in the proceedings there is no link to my presentation blend although iirc i provided it, will e-mail to note the organizers about that but in case anyone is interested it's at http://playsign.fi/presentation/bconf07playsign.blend

it features an experimental presentation script that works so that additional info of things ('power points') is showed of the selected objects, so you can right-click objects for more info.

To throw in a related / unrelated question: In video 2, the Plumiferos presentation (excellent stuff by the way) the presenter is using a very cool mind mapping / flowchart program. Does anyone know which program is being used here, (I'm sure it's in Linux) because I think it would be a great program to use for story development and organising scenes in blender?

    Thanks Blenderheads!

I missed the plumiferos video. Only one I didn't download yet. Any chance its inkscape?

  24. 24 Madpsychot Edit Link

    Hey Brian,

It's not Inkscape, but it looks like Freemind. But I have Freemind installed on my machine but it's not as smooth as the one in the Video.
